A LITTLE BIT OF INSPIRATION

I love reading posts on someone else's blogs which recomend other very interesting blogs and tutorials so I have decided to start publishing A LITTLE BIT OF INSPIRATION posts where I am going to write about blogs which inspire me. Right now am in Poland with my daughter Olivia so I am not able to make any cards or scraps which reminds me to ask my hubby to take pictures of cards I made before I left for Poland.

Today I went to one of my favorite blogs of Susan Weinroth who recomended fabulous quilting blog CLUCK CLUCK SEW I found very interesting not only for people who quilt but also scrapbookers and photographers - you can sew a camera strap! Go check it out - it has many tutorials! Enjoy!

My first...

My first cascade card made for our close friend

who got sick a week ago.

Thankfully she is better now recovering from surgery.

I created it with limited supplies - everything else is packed.

I used new K&Company paper and MS doilies.

Tomorrow we are moving back home!!!

Can't wait!!!

Ostatnie 3 miesiace nic pokazywalam,

poniewaz moje przydasie spakowane sa w pudlach,

a my mieszkamy w wynajentym mieszkaniu i remontujemy nasz dom.

Juz wkrotce wracamy do siebie - za tydzien -

MERRY CHRISTMAS

This is one of Christmas cards I was able to make in the beginning of November. Later in the month life happened and I lost the access to my craft room, which is almost packed and all craft projects must wait until March, when we will move back to our house in the end of February.

I hope 2011 will be slightly less exciting and calmer than 2010, which was overall a great year because Olivia was born and I got USA permanent resident card (Green Card).

I would like to wish all of you very Merry Christmas and happy New Year.

FOR KIDS

A week ago Olivia attended first birthday party of Finnegan and his big sister Bianka so I had finally opportunity to create something for kids.

For the first card I used MS punch and K&Company paper. For the second card I used also MS punch and very cute stamp images which belong to my friend Kelly, but I don't know the brand. I hope you had nice weekend!

and again Papertry Ink flower stamps and dies.

SHADE OF BLUE...

Please don't think that I was too busy or not inspired to create. I wasn't. Everyday I try to spend some time at my desk. My list of people who I owe or promised some cards is getting longer and longer but I am trying to do my best and here you can see some results.

Here I used my other new MS punches, K&Company paper and Papertrey Ink flower stamps and dies. Tomorrow I will try to show you even more cards!

TRI-SHUTTER CARD

Hi everyone,

It is rainy day today so we will not spend too much time outside unfortunately. So far we had to skip morning walk but I hope I will be able to stroll Olivia in the neighborhood later. My mom spoiled my little girl with walks while she was here visiting us for 5 weeks.

Anyway, today I would like to show you a card which I made for James' friend's parents. I think it doesn't seem finished. For me it misses some flourish stamps, but I realized of that when everything was glued together. Oh well!

INTRODUCING OLIVIA

Olivia is sleeping so I have time to show you finally birth announcements which I made to introduce our sweetie to James' family and our friends. The cards I made when I was still pregnant so the only thing was to attach picture and info after she wa born and the job was done especially again I had to make over 30 these.
