CUTTLEBUG CARDS

My first cards using CuttleBug and Spellbinders.

I love this machine.

I made them just before leaving US

in the end of September.

WEDDING TRI-SHUTTER CARD

I changed my mind about the previous tri-shutter card,

which I planed to be a wedding card.

I think it is in too bright colors so

I made this one along with a matching box.

Some details.

The box is missing a ribbon and a tag which I will print in Poland.

TRI-SHUTTER CARD

Last month my cousin got married, but unfortunately we couldn't be present at his wedding. In the end of September we are going to give them a gift anyway so I made this card to go with it. The middle section of the card is waiting to be filled with printed greetings. By the way it is my first finished tri-shutter card. The previous one doesn't fold correctly!

It is based on a page map, which was not very easy to work with.

But I did it.

Here I made a bookmark using Tim Holtz's stamps and glimmer mist.

It was quick and not planned project.

I made some more cards. I don't know what for because I make more cards than I send so usually I just give them away to people. At least they send them as far as I know!

MORE CARDS

Yesterday I was asked by my husband to make few thank you cards - business yet personal. They are going to be send to 4 men so I couldn't put any flowers on them. Also I don't have any male stamp - for example a car - so the first card I made had an image of a boat, but wasn't approved so I made these which he likes. I might show you the first card with a boat tomorrow (I just have to take a picture).

PRIMA FLOWERS ON MY CARDS

I am still obsessed with Prima flowers. It hasn't been too long so I am fine with it but you might think that I don't have any other ideas. I do but it is so easy to slap some flowers on a piece of paper and a card is ready. These I made for a really nice lady who brightens my work hours.

A CARD FOR A FRIEND

Our friend from a lovely town of Alexandria near Washington, DC had a surgery last week so I decided to make a card for her. It is going to be also card for a challenge on Polish Scrappassion forum.

In the next few days I will try to share with you about a nice day which I had during Creating Keepsakes Convention in Valley Forge on August 1. I took 3 classes, attended a big crop and did a little shopping.

Uwielbiam wymiany. Zawsze sie bardzo ciesze jak cos dostane ladnego od innej zakreconej craftowo osoby. To jest tak, jakby miec urodziny albo gwiazdke kilka razy w roku. Tym razem bralam udzial w wymianie saszetek zapachowych u Alexls. Dostalam woreczek zapachowy i wieszaczek - oba ozdobione metoda decoupage - od Zuzi (tu mozesz zajrzec na jej bloga gatto-pazzo). W ogole sie nie spodziewalam takiego super dodatku do woreczka, ktory od razu zadomowil sie w szafie z recznikami ( jakims cudem mam tam wieszaczki, ktore nigdy nie wiedzialam do czego sluza, a teraz sie przydaly), a nad wieszaczkiem sie musze jeszcze zastanowic, gdzie go powiesic.

Dziekuje bardzo Zuziu za super woreczek i wieszaczek. Motyw bardzo mi sie podoba!!!

Lately I was taking a part in a fragrance sachet swap, which was organized by Alexls and today I received my sachet and a hanger - both decoupaged with a marine theme - from Zuzia. I like them a lot. Thank you Zuzia.

So far I had a really good weekend which started yesterday (I didn't go to work today), because last night I went to Billy Joel and Elton John concert in Philadelphia and tomorrow I am going to heaven... but I will be back... unfortunately!

SCRAPPASSION CHALLENGE

Here is my latest scrap which I made for a monthly challenge on Polish Scrappassion forum. I must admit I am a lazy scrapbooker, but challenges make me scrap layouts. Of course like all of us I have everything I need but I have problems with journaling and titles and they slightly stop me from creating 12/12 layouts. I like mini albums though and cards because it is so much easier and quicker to make them.

LITTLE MONKEYS

Little Monkey is having birthday next Sunday, so I am in a process of making some thank you cards. His favourite stuffed animal is a monkey named GAA. He drags his monkey everywhere. That is why there are monkey on these cards.

QUICK WEDDING CARD

Tomorrow my husband is flying to SF for his friend wedding so I was forced to make a card really quick. Especially that I haven't had time lately to craft between work and us trying to spend some time at the shore. And also tomorrow I am going to visit my girlfriend in Connecticut.

ROW ROW ROW YOUR BOAT ...

One more little notebook for our friends. Very simple because it is going to be used on a boat, where they spend their quality time. In June 2006 we were invited to spend with them weekend and we had really great time sailing for 2 days.

ZIELONO MI...

Hope you had great Saturday! I had. I can say I was resting. No cleaning ( I only run dishwasher), no cooking - yesterday I made one of my husband's favourite dishes: crepes with mushrooms, spinach and Alfredo sauce - so we had some leftovers for dinner today! I only baked a quick cake with strawberries and whipped cream ( real whipped cream ). I didn't want to use strawberries from store, because they are not real - they grow in green houses and they taste the same all year round, so I went to Linvilla Orchards to get "real" ones. Linvilla is farm dedicated to agriculture, entertainment and education. They raise they own fresh fruits and vegetables that you can pick yourself or purchase in our Farm Market. Their bakery makes delicious pull-apart bread which we love. There is a great playground and additionally children can feed chickens, ducks and see a horse or a goat.

I love plants. Both indoor and outdoor. Because of traveling a lot I can't have to many indoor ones: I only have zamioculcas ( it is great for people who forget to water plants) and 2 weeks ago I bought my first orchid. I hope it will survive and rebloom in the future.

There is a different story with my garden. I love having blooming plants outside. After living in a block of flats for 26 years now I have my own little garden. Every year I buy annuals my husband plants tomatoes and basil. Next year we are going to build a planting box to start growing more vegetables.

NOTEBOOKS

These are my first notebooks. I made them about 2 weeks ago. I have 3 more but i can't show them to you, before they get to the new owners. One more thing to avoid drama among my scrapbookig friends: I don't have ZUTTER! But it doesn't change the fact that I would like to have one! For this projects I was using simple blank little books and I only decorated the covers.
